I recently read a very good book (fiction) called Atlas of Unknowns, by Tania James. It’s devastating, yet funny and witty (that combination is hard to pull off, in my opinion, but James does it well*).

On my way back to the US, I had a 12-hour daytime layover in Mumbai.
